Most of the images in this set were made in the north Georgia area - Atlanta, Athens, Gainesville and Nicholson, Georgia are the main locations represented. Reflecting my love of the F64 period and the years preceding it in the history of photography, I also made several images in natural settings such as Raven Cliffs and Lake Lanier, also in Georgia. An interest in architectural history, which I developed while at the University of Georgia, motivated me to photograph several buildings which were of interest to me - Washington National Cathedral in Washington, DC, the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, Georgia and One Suntrust Plaza in Atlanta among them.
