Tonal ranges in photography have very distinct personalities. Images in the range of tones above middle grey have a delicate presence that can seem very precious and fragile. They speak of a permanent state of being that is quiet, mindful, and very patient.
I’ve called this group Personal Space because most of the photos are details of places where I’ve lived, but they’re also some of the most personal images I’ve made.
